No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service!
Aaahhh, the world famous sign its found in almost every store and public place the meaning is simple... OR is it? Lets break it down:
First off, No Shirt:
Shirt- The article of clothing you wear on the upper part of your body which covers you so you dont get sunburned on your chest. Its been around for many years and adored by many! Of course No shirt refers to one without a shirt... such as this:
alright next...
No shoes:
Shoes- They have been a part of most peoples wardrobe for years they started out as a protection for feet and now they are a fashion statement. Everyone loves their shoes whatever their shape color or size. without shoes our lives would be worse mostly because our feet would be in constant pain but also partly because our wardrobe would be incomplete... and as we know we would all look somewhat like this:
No service:
This obviously refers to what happens if you dont comply with the above qualifications.
you simply cannot go in or recieve such services.
now heres the problem... In this statement they only refer to two articles of clothing and as we know the average person wears more clothing than that.
So according to said logic you could walk into a grocery store with nothing on except your shirt and shoes and by law they would have to give you service.
Interesting eh? I dont think they put much thought into this sign, all im asking is for these sign makers to put a bit more thought into said signs it would certaintly make the world an easier and better place!

Babies!
Why is it babies are so cute? Is it just simply that they are cute or its it something more insidious like they release some sort of had that forces everyone to percieve them as adorable little things? Will whatever the reason they are indeed cute and as long as we are careful we won't fall victim to their clever plot to take over the world.
Keep an eye on them!
Note: the picture is the baby my mom is currently watching name: Macy, yes like the store and the parade and no she does not own the famous parade, just similar thinking.
Blogging is hard...

Thor!
Yesterday I went with my best friend Grant and saw the new Thor movie! It was so amazing! Now for my review!
I dont know much about the Thor comics but from what I saw they did a really good job on casting, Thor looked like he jumped right out of the comic books! yeah! The acting was superb! There was so much action as you would expect, it always kept you on the edge of your seat! The storyline was so good, and very believable. One of the best parts was the cameo appearence of one of my favorite heroes! I wont reveal it though, I dont care much for spoilers... all in all it was just an amazing movie! I loved it! I would totally go and see it again! its a fine addition to the marvel line up of movies! I would totally reccomend this movie to anyone who loves a good superhero movie!
Oh and make sure you stay after the credits for the secret scene!

Bad Cartoons, Why?

What happened to the good old days were cartoons were, lets see whats the word? good?
Remember the days of Scooby-Doo, Invader Zim, Cat-Dog, and even Spongebob Squarepants, Now unfortunately the TV is plagued with badly drawn, badly writen, and just plain weird cartoons....
Why is it the quality of cartoons has dropped? these cartoons nowadays barely even have a plot line... just watching them for a matter of minutes you can feel your IQ dropping rapidly. What happened? were these people sitting around trying to think of some new cartoons when the producers 3 year old came in and said "look daddy! I made a cartoon guy!" to which he responded "its genius!" and then proceeded to force his highly talented animators to draw something 3 year olds draw... the animators are of course upset but don't want to be out of a job, so they proceed to draw this hideous monstrosity
of a cartoon, of course children accept it because they would way rather watch this than CNN...
(This same process also gave us the wonderfully hideous Scion XB cars...
I'm sure William Hanna and Joseph Barbera are turning over in their graves because of these horrible cartoons...
I guess the only safe show now I suppose is good old sesame street,
I suggest all of these cartoon and children show companies take a little more time and make some good quality shows. Before long we may just see the death of good cartoons on television...
I plead with all please keep this from happening lets see some good quality cartoons please!

Experience?
Today's post is about Experience, more specifically Job Experience. How exactly is this experience acquired? some its pretty easy to tell like customer service but sometimes its confusing like when there's some obscure job that you've never heard of in your life and they say you need previous experience... I'm sorry but how exactly do you get experience with something you've never heard of until now? Another one is when you look at every similar job for example retail and all of them say that they require previous retail experience, how exactly do you get experience if all the places require experience? I guess they are an elite core and don't accept outsiders but what exactly happens when those employees either quit or retire? Uh-oh suddenly this business doesn't have any employees and are now faced with either hiring inexperienced individuals or going belly up. Well I suppose some people simply just have to wait until that happens... But I guess someday all the businesses will have to hire inexperienced people because they wont have anyone left...
So now I suppose our options are to either just sit and wait or protest! but in reality both of those options will probably take the same amount of time.
Well until next time I guess!
Oops!
Totally spaced the post for wednesday, sometimes it's hard to blog every day...so I guess just consider this the blog for wednesday! I will have a proper post for all tomorrow. (maybe I need to do theese things earlier...)

Improv!
I just got back from my first Improv Workshop at Comedy Sportz, It was so much fun! So for today's Post I'm going to talk about The art of Improv, Yes its an art. So Improv is the art of Performing on the spot with no prior preparation. Its a lot of fun and my most favorite thing to do, Improv has been an art through the ages It all started in the 16th century when a famous actor who had the lead role in romeo and Juliet suddenly forgot his lines... so he began making them up on the spot naturally all the other actors and actresses played along because they didn't want to make fools of themselves. What ensued was of course hilarity, The crowd ate up, they told all of their friends and so the next performance was packed, and everyone was disappointed because all of the performers knew their lines... unfortunately no one could figure out what was wrong so sadly Improv was forgotten...
But then in the 1940's one director by the name of Hanz Picklesfronz was sick the opening night of a hot new musical "Chickens On Ice!" The cast wasn't sure what to do they had never performed without a director before! (The thought had never occurred to them to just perform anyways...) they decided to simply ask the audience what they wanted to see (Except for the usual show of course) after hearing what the audience wanted they proceeded to make up their own ice skating musical. Which worked surprisingly well. Everyone loved what they saw and wanted to see that every week. Thinking quickly the lead actor took a poll and was able to get about 6 performers who wished to do it again, and formed the first improv group "The Ice People" regrettably they only stayed together for a few short lived months. Fans were devastated, some even ran to an unknown island to weep uncontrollably.
Then many years later in 1955 the first non accidental Improv troupe they called themselves "The Compass Players" they of course were never lost. Through the years many other troupes formed as Improv grew bigger and bigger. Then in 1988 the popular show "Who's Line is it anyways" started making Improv a worldwide thing, and from there Improv became more and more popular until every state had at least 1 improv comedy troupe located somewhere within the state.
Now Improv television shows are very popular as are classic Improv shows in theaters, Improv has grown from its accidental discovery in the 1600's to a wildly popular theater art.
Now Improv can only grow and grow and become more and more popular.
Thank you for reading this rather long and somewhat true history of Improv. I hope all of you will go out and support your local Improv comedy troupe and if the mood hits you start your own.
Good Luck!

Dreams
The thought on my mind today is dreams we all have them (and no not the ones you have every night...) im talking about the hopes and visions you all have for yourself, some aspire to be professional athletes, some wish to be pop stars, and some superheroes.
Of course sometimes these are impossible to achieve, however as we can see from many examples it is possible to achieve our dreams, but the thing is how do they achieve these? at first glance you would think "Why, Talent of course" but then you take another thought when you see all the people who sing in their showers, playing sports on their X-Box instead of outside, and wearing a cape while in the mental hospital. They all at one point of time had talent why is it they didnt work out? I feel that this is an issue that plagues all of us of course we all wish to achieve our dreams but we all lack the knowledge to do so.
It doesnt matter what your dream is it would just be amazing if you could accomplish it, so my wish for today is for the knowledge of how all those famous people became famous.then the people out there who really have the talent but just cant get to the top for whatever reason. But I guess for now all we can do is take a shot a go for our dreams no matter how wild and outlandish they might be!

Nerds?
But the unusual thing is these stereotypes are slowly disapearing, more and more people are playing videgames, carrying hundreds of different electronic devices, and thanks to movies comics are now cool. What caused this sudden change? was there a huge revolution in which These super geeks kidnapped an entire football team and brainwashed them? or perhaps the jocks just had a change of mind.
Well whatever the cause we can all be sure as long as those nerds still tape up their glasses, wear suspenders, and talk weird their social status will never improve... So in order for us to end this stereotyping we all need to change, but specifically the nerds, so come on everybody lets make a better world!
